Oh, my. Just when you think it’s safe to go back in the eHow pool, eHow has un-deleted articles en masse.
Um, was Santa early? Nope. I’m thinking it’s just another eHow boo-boo. Why? Because eHow restored not only the “sweeps” victims, but in my case, they re-published all the articles that I deleted myself!
Funny thing is, I had edited most of my articles to read, “deleted by author” before actually deleting them, and that is how they stand. There is no content in the articles I deleted, and I’ve neither the time nor the inclination to delete them again.
If you have articles on eHow that you want to delete and re-post elsewhere, I suggest you edit them first to replace your original text to prevent potential duplicate-content issues in the future.
Should be fun to see if they earn any $$$ this time around…
Did you receive emails about all of your articles that were “re-published”, Kim?…………hm….the funny thing is, I’ve gotten upwards of 40-50 emails from them in the last two weeks saying that my articles (all 150+ of them, that I had deleted in mass, about 3 months ago), were now “LIVE” on the site……..it was like a congratulatory email that was worded like I should be happy about it or something…..
….when I click through, however, it doesn’t take me to any of my articles (which is a good thing, because I had deleted them all…)….but, rather, it looks like a long list of eHow contributors articles….
